Since 2014, Château Vieux Chaigneau is the property of Charlotte and Valentin Généré Milhade who strive to bring out the best of this terroir. The vineyard extends over the municipality of Néac, 2 kilometres from Pomerol and the famous Petrus estate. Valentin takes care of the 6 hectares of vines planted in one piece on the clay plateau of the Lalande de Pomerol appellation, he works to preserve the life of the soil. Charlotte then leads the winemaking and the ageing of the wines in the respect of the Bordeaux tradition.
