The land of the Moulin de Rioucreux extends over 28 hectares of vines managed in certified organic agriculture or conversion. Guillaume Guérin represents the twelfth generation who has worked passionately on this estate belonging to his family since the mid-17th century. He takes over the reins in January 2014 with already 10 hectares committed to conversion since the summer. Three months later, the vines of a neighbor, in bio for 30 years, are acquired by the family. Guillaume is convinced that the conversion of the vineyards into organic viticulture is a global and future approach, which brings them closer to their consumers every day. It makes it possible to create a better working environment in the vineyard, and to produce wines made from healthy grapes.

Château Moulin de Rioucreux, AOC Bordeaux, White, 2019
- My experience here and elsewhere has taught me that there are very different ways of making wine, more or less industrial, more or less close to the vine and the consumer, that passion often makes a difference, and that only patience, in the vineyard as in the cellar, allowed to build lasting things - Guillaume Guérin
